Google Analytics is one of the best free web analytics services. It offers huge amount of features to track down and analyze your website’s traffic.

Its installation can be done by pasting the provided JavaScript to each theme’s template, but easier way is to install Google Analytics for WordPress -plugin created by Joost de Valk.

• Download Google Analytics for WordPress
• Copy its files to WordPress plugins folder
• Activate plugin from WordPress administration area. Click Plugins, then Activate.
• Set your Google Analytics account number from Plugins->Google Analytics
